Introducing: The Atrium

Introducing: The Atrium

View through a wooden door showing a room with large windows, a radiator, a white cubby shelf filled with small items, a small wooden table, and a round rug on a hardwood floor.

Take a peek inside our Atrium, a purposefully designed space where children at St. Thomas practice Catechesis of the Good Sheperd.

In the Atrium, children will encounter Montessori-based play with materials on the life of Jesus Christ and his teachings which help make the mystery of God concrete for the child.

Through a combination of scripture, liturgy, and hands-on materials, the Catechesis of the Good Sheperd aims to help children ponder the mysteries of the Christian faith and develop their personal relationship with God at their own pace.

Inspired by the image of Jesus as the Good Sheperd, this method nurtures a deep sense of peace, love, and belonging in God’s Presence.

Conference Room

A conference room with a long dark wooden table, surrounded by beige upholstered chairs, a white decorative bowl with green plants on the table, a potted plant in the corner, dark green walls with framed landscape pictures, and a wall mirror reflecting part of the room.

Meet & Collaborate

Our freshly renovated conference room serves multiple purposes. Private meetings for parents and children with our staff work well in this welcoming space.

We also enjoy utilizing this room for students to work individually without distractions, depending on unique needs, or for small groups of students to work collaboratively on specific projects.

Two children, a girl with glasses and a boy, sit at a reflective dark wood table writing in notebooks. The girl has long brown hair and the boy has short black hair. There is a white decorative pot with green plants on the table. The background features green walls and three framed pictures of sheep and a person in a landscape scene.

Our gymnasium is more than a place for play — it’s where our school community comes together. From lively physical education classes and laughter-filled lunch hours to assemblies, performances, and family events, this space buzzes with energy, teamwork, and joy.

It’s a gathering place where students build friendships, grow in confidence, and celebrate all that makes St. Thomas feel like home.
