Areas to volunteer -

• Helping with preparing materials for staff - prepping crafts, cutting, gluing

• Helping with academics - small group reading/math instruction

• Work with English Language Learners - work in small groups with those learning English

• Lunch or recess monitor - assist students while they are at lunch or outside

• Landscape work outside our school - help weed, water plants, and care for flowers

• Volunteer your business or place of work to be a field trip/learning experience for students

• Tutoring - work one-on-one with a student who needs assistance with a topic

• Plan a staff appreciation event - meal, activity, etc.

• Field trip chaperone - be a mentor during field trips

• Classroom read aloud - read a book to a class
